Ulthwe Harlequins – Completed

it has been a crazy end of semester and I still have three weeks to go. I finished these two weeks ago for the 40k radio monthly painting challenge and put them back on the shelf with the rest of the Ulthwe models. I will come back to these when I have a little more practice painting power weapons and will add some other touches to make these a little more interesting.

I spent a good two hours trying to do the harlequin stripes and patterns before admitting to myself that I have zero talent at doing such a thing. Instead, I figure to have them match the rest of my Ulthwe force and just make all the extra bits variant colors of red. I really like the way these turned out, and although they are not the exuberant details that harlequins tend to float around with; they look great with the rest of the force.
